Woah!

Great image man. Like how bold the composition is. The colours are gorgeous, too. Lisa's getting dramatically better with every image. Did she colour from pencils?

She sure did! Don't think she's crazy about doing that again though, tougher on her timewise than an inked image.

Sweet cover Moon. I have a feeling this is going to be your break out comic.
Looking forward to picking up the series, when's it out?

Thanks Rich! Fingers crossed. First issue in April, then monthly til August I think.

Steve and Lisa sure know how to class up the joint, eh folks?! I wonder which lucky hack-writer won the jackpot by getting saddled with the two of 'em. Mooney, any truth to the rumor that issue #2 will see a ten-story tall Venus Fly Trap? That I've GOTTA see to believe.

Alright Josh! Good ta see ya here man! Can't wait to read the script for Issue 2!

just out of curiousity, who do you base your 'evey' on,if she appears in this story?
did the studio insist on one particular actress,or was the decision left to you?

Stephen Mooney said...

You know, I don't actually know if Evey appears in this book, as I haven't read past Issue 1. If she does appear, I'd be very surprised if it wasn't the studio's call on which actress I'd have to portray her as. Its grand so far, Brendan Fraser's is the only likeness I have to contend with, and he looks quite 'cartooney' to begin with, so its all good in the 'hood. Loads of likenesses slows down the work bigtime.

Nice work there Steveybops! Sent a message to Thompson. We should go and consume alcohol somewhere some time this side of shabas.

Agreed. Lemme know the wheres and whens of it all and I'll be there. Or I'll be square by golly.

Evey, you ask? There are plans for a cameo, best I can tell.

And will she be Rachel Weisz or Maria Bello? I'd prefer Weisz, but what do I know...
