Not Fade Away Pencils

This is a page I recently sent to super-scribe Scott Tipton as a thank-you for collaborating with me on the Not Fade Away miniseries. Thought you folks may like to see how the pencils look before they get inked.
It's part of Wes' death scene.... still gets me every time. -choke-

Good Christ almighty, those pencils are tight. Is this the norm for you?

Lovely stuff,though.

Alright Luke, I pencilled this series a bit more tightly alight as I was 'inking' it on the computer for the first time. That said I do tend to pencil pretty tightly.

Inking on the computer?
Do you have a Wacom tablet?

I do indeed Luke. I've been trying out different inking techniques lately to try and get my process to go that little bit quicker. Pages used to take me about 12-14 hrs to complete but I've managed to shave 2 or even 3 hours off that now by using the computer more.
I still draw absolutely everything on good old-fashioned paper initially though, don't know if I could ever draw straight onto the mac like Thompson or Bobbo.

Cheers Thomas! Speaking of gifts, where's my board sequence for the gaf? I ever tell you I have that Connery Bond pic you gave me up in the bar of my studio?
