Faith v Buffy Commission

This one was a lot of fun to do, since I've never properly drawn either slayer before. I loved the dynamic between the girls in early season 3, where Giles was just struggling to maintain some semblance of order as the two egos clashed.
That's how you introduce a new character in my book.
Which slayer do I prefer? Gotta be Faith all the way. Never been a fan of the blondes.

I like. The likeness on Buffy is good(I've never seen Faith/Dushku with that expression, so I'm not sure about her) and I can really feel the tention between them.

Can we use all your work in banners & fanart? I'm thinking about using the Not Fade Away Spike page.

Absolutely.

Great likeness on Buffy man. Just realised i'd never seen you draw her before. Faith tuned out real well to.

Totally agreed on the Slayer front by the way. Faith's the one for me too...

Cheers lads. I was hesitant cos, well its Buffy. But it was exciting, cos at the end of the day, she's the main gal, y'know? The head honcho.
Plus, chicks with superpowers are just hot.

Really nice work. Love the hair-do's.

Thanks man! I do love drawing women's hair... and the smell of it... the way it tumbles around their shoulders...-cough-

yeah I like this mooney! did you use the brush pen again?

Stephen Mooney said...

For some of the outlining, but these are mostly technical pens and felt-tips. I think I should keep these consistant with the style of my Angel stuff so that people know what they're getting.

Pretty bangin,Mooney.

I was looking for a Superman sketch and my mate was looking for a Green Lantern,if I remember.
Only sketches,though.
Get your comissions done to make that dollah dollah stuff first

These are the best non-Nun women that have come from your pen. Very nice, man. Also, late last night I had a quick thought and this was it: "Stephen Mooney should call his blog THE MOONEYVERSE". I have no idea why that popped into my head. If you don't use it, tell your wife to start a blog. Someone needs to use that name. Hell, I may.

Capital idea Brian! I can see why they pay you the big bucks. I've got my beautiful assistant/wife working on it right now.
'The Mooniverse'... and beyond

these guys already mention a mooniverse. I think you'd have to go with Brian's spelling...

nope wait there's one already... weird thing is both these blogs seem to be about comics...

Stephen Mooney said...

How about 'TheMooneyverse' all one word?

jacintha said...

that looks ok...do you really need a new blog though?
