The Incredibrennans

Hiyo. So its been a while since I last posted anything, busy busy at the mo. I'm working away on an arc of a book I love, and I couldn't be happier. Also, there's the whole getting married in seven weeks thing, and the house being in the final stages of construction. Poor bloggy doesn't get a look in. Hopefully I'll start some more regular posting as of now, I've a couple new Angel covers in the bank that I'll trot out soon. Was at the 2d comic con in Derry last weekend, and it was yet again a brilliant weekend. I've already confirmed for next year, so maybe see ye there.
This is a piece I just finished for one of my girlfriend's sisters, it's her family as the Incredibles. I LOVED that movie(love anything Brad Bird touches) and it was great fun trying to keep them on model. Reminded me of the old animation days.
Righto, that's me off.

PS- I hope everybody is picking up The Mummy series! Its great, trust me.

Brad Bird is a genius. Great drawing by the way, class seeing that image inked in your style

seriously though it`s a brilliant comic! And I didn`t even really care for the movie..
And going up to Derry was well worth it.It`s really great to meet up with you and Dec and Bob and the like every now and then.It was weird not seeing Will there though.

Yeah, we had to let Will go. It... wasn't working out.

Here is it just my imagination, when you're in caricature mode here, but am I remembering correctly that you're having a bust of yourself sculpted or whetevered?

Will Sliney said...

Actually Will left of his own accord, all the other Micks have been crying nonstop since

Tears of happiness Will, tears of happiness.

I hate it when Mommy and Daddy fight.
Will's wandering the globe Luke, mastering ancient ninja techniques and some fantastic recipies. One day, he will return to us.... one day. -choke-
Alright Tomothy, yer kinda correct, I'm not making the bust, Thompson is as a wedding present. It's me in a really pretentious pose and it'll have some latin inscription like 'no fat chicks' on the base. Think its gonna go in the hall of the new house.

Steve-o from Dublin! Coolest artist I know.

Looks like we were able to keep our twist ending in Mummy #4, yeah? Was keeping my fingers crossed and we got away with it (insert evil laughter here).
Right on, Josh from Buffalo

Josh-J from Buffalo! Alright man, great to hear from you! Still waiting on that page choice you promised me... great to hear they've kept the ending we wanted, you happy with the book so far? I think its looked great for the most part, couple of cover image tweaks I didn't see coming, but thats the nature of the beast I guess...
