Here's the cover to the first issue of my new book 'Strangeland'. It's a horror-vengeance title that really doesn't pull any punches. Really. The book debuts this August from Fangoria Comics and I figure it's fair game putting this image up here as its already out in this months previews and Fangoria magazine and elsewhere. Here's a test sequence I did recently for IDW for the upcoming Joss Whedon/Brian Lynch scripted Angel Season Six book. All my buddies know I'm a huge nerd for this stuff, so we'll see what happens. They seem to have been very well received, so fingers crossed! Colours by the lovely Lisa Jackson.

Declan Shalvey conquers UK, Phones Mammy

HUGE congrats to the D-Shalv on his Eagle Award win last Saturday night at the Bristol Comic Con. His Book 'Herokillers' won... the award for whatever category it was in! Best Black and White book maybe! It's a great achievement so early on in his career, as the Eagles are second only to the Eisner Awards in terms of industry recognition and prestige. Fair play to ye Dec! And yes, this is the same award I FAILED to win last year.... sigh... what? Leave me alone.
